Plans are set and route has been determined. James and I are off to see the sights on the East coast, leaving on July 23rd.
Our route will take us up I-75 to Santee, SC and Baltimore, MD before arriving in Burlington, VT for the weekend. We will stop along the way to snap a few pictures, see a few sights, and rest the butt!
From Vermont we will travel through Pennsylvania on our way to the entrance of Skyline Drive and The Blue Ridge Parkway. This will be Flower Sniff'n at its best with many stops along the way. Overnights in Waynesboro, VA, Boone, NC, and Cherokee, NC are planned.
We are so close to the Tail of the Dragon and Deal's Gap that we can't pass it up. A quick ride through the Dragon and then across the Cherohala Parkway before we reach our destination of La Follette, TN so that James can meet his cousins.
Finally, we are homeward bound. A twelve day excursion into history and sights.
